molly's first parade!

molly walked in her first parade today! 2008 marked the 46th annual St. John's parade, and i've been told it is the oldest parade in Portland. we marched with the library and molly wore her summer reading t-shirt!

we were amazed to see the hundreds and hundreds of people who came out to see the parade, and many cheered on the library as we passed.

molly slept through the whole thing, but i think she enjoyed it all the same.

once we finished we hung out and watched the rest of the parade go by. there were old cars, marching bands, horses and even pirates! the parade happens every year on Mother's Day weekend, so next year, you all should come see the parade with us! St. Johns ROCKS!
